Dr Ciara Kelly on living outside the comfort zone

Broadcaster and GP Dr Ciara Kelly had to watch helplessly as her mother’s memory slowly faded away. Now she hopes to help others in the same situation by serving as an ambassador for Dementia: Understand Together at the Bloom 2019 festival

Her media career has taken her out of the GP practice onto appearances on RTÉ’s Operation Transformation, and landed her own lunchtime radio show on Newstalk.
