The man with the Golden Mask brings a Russian Butterfly to Dublin
Georgiy Isaakyan is one of the most illustrious artistic directors in Russia, and a winner of truck loads of prizes and awards over the past 25 years. Among those was the Golden Mask Laureate, the country’s top accolade for culture and the arts.
Armenian-born Isaakyan is now director of the Moscow State Opera, the touring company that will present Puccini’s Madama Butterfly for five performances at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre on April 22-26....
