The Limerick-based Irish Chamber Orchestra has had a number of temporary Dublin ‘homes’ down the years, but not always with the required results. This has been due to a variety of issues, particularly regarding time-slots and sound quality.

Certainly, its tenure at the Mansion House’s Oval Room early this year was short-lived, while various arrangements at the National Concert Hall never seemed to ignite a deserved response at the box office.
