The FIDE World Cup ended in victory for Teimour Radjabov, winning the final against Ding Liren. Both players qualify for the Candidates tournament next year. In a playoff for third place, France’s Maxime Vachier-Lagrave prevailed over China’s Yu Yangyi, winning both rapid tiebreak games.
