In 1967, two young artists, Aubrey Powell and Storm Thorgerson, launched their design company Hipgnosis by creating the cover of Pink Floyd’s second album, A Saucerful of Secrets. Little did Powell dream that, 50 years on, he’d be the creative director of the hottest ticket in town: The Pink Floyd Exhibition, at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum.
