‘Too big to fail.” That’s the term people generally use when discussing beleaguered banks. But, increasingly, I find myself reaching for the expression when thinking of Ryan Tubridy. Perhaps it may seem unfair, comparing the career of a humble RTE chat show presenter to the infinitely gloomier and vaster likes of Anglo Irish Bank or Barings Bank (both of which, of course, did fail), but in recent months, it appears RTE has been approaching anyone...
