Taking selfies at a concentration camp is most definitely not okay

Truly, I have now seen it all. Many, many times in the past I have thought that I had reached the zenith of ‘seeing it all’, but a recent trip to Poland has convinced me that I was mistaken after seeing . . . a selfie stick at Auschwitz.

I had read the headlines and the shocked tweets, of course, about foolish youngsters spotted gurning into their front-facing cameras at the Berlin Holocaust Memorial or smiling...
