Some people don’t get Bruce Springsteen; they don’t get the drawn-out narrative songs or the marathon-style concerts. At best, the non-believers connect with Born To Run, primarily because the song’s internal dynamic and romantic-myth storyline demands it – but the rest they can gladly take or leave.
