This is a simple recipe for small, thick pancakes, also known as drop scones or Scotch pancakes. The batter can be made the night before, but if you do this you may need to add an extra drop of milk in the morning, to loosen the mixture up a bit.

To make things even easier, you can measure up quantities of the dry ingredients and keep them in a container.
