Coasteering makes me think about a question I’d never previously given too much consideration to: what’s the best way to jump off a cliff?

Coasteering (a clumsy hybrid of the words ‘coast’ and ‘orienteering’) involves exploring a coastline in an unconventional way. It blends swimming through sea caves, scrambling across rocks, and, of course, cliff jumping. Pioneered in Wales in the 1990s, the sport is gaining popularity here....
