The new Ford Mondeo Vignale is as quiet and refined as any of its German rivals

Audi. BMW. Jaguar. Lexus. Mercedes-Benz. Ford. One of those car manufacturers seems out of place in that list, but plans are afoot to change that. For most of its existence Ford has been a mainstream, blue-collar brand trading on its founder’s ”stack ’em high, sell ‘em low” ethos that stretched back to the 14 million or so Model Ts that were produced at a cost of €290 a piece (about €3,500 in 2015 money)....
