The Undurraga Winery is a founding father of modern winemaking in Chile. The family-run winery has 2,500 acres of vineyards spread across the Colchagua and Maipo Valley regions, meaning that it can offer quality at low prices (similar family firms in Burgundy have only five to 20 acres of vines).
This wine has had extended cold maceration to draw out colour, careful harvesting, extreme selection and then maturation in expensive French and US oak barrels.
