The Three Wines

This is a very well-made Spanish wine, a white Rioja made from 25-year-old local viura grape vines. Little expense has been spared by its producers, Bodegas Marques de Vitoria, which is part of the Faustino group.

This crisp, lime-tinged wine has a bittersweet, lip-smacking profile that sauvignon blanc lovers will enjoy, but a less acidic finish that is more attractive to pinot grigio lovers. Worth trying at a fair price.
