Elian Da Ros is the name of the winemaker and owner here at the eponymous winery which is located in the Marmandais appellation. It’s obscure by any standards – while the small town of Marmandes, 50 kilometres south of Bordeaux, is on the right or western bank of the Garonne river, along with the Entre Deux Mers and Cahors, the town’s vineyards are on the eastern bank, due-south of Graves and Sauternes.
