XL Group to leave Ireland for Bermuda

Company is global player in insurance and reinsurance market

XL Group, the New York Stock Exchange-listed insurance company, is set to move its headquarters out of Dublin and re-domicile to Bermuda.

The company’s shareholders last week approved the plan, which will change the place of its incorporation to Bermuda, subject to approval by the Irish high court, which is to hear the matter on July 20.
