Irish businessman Seán Killeen established Xintec in Luxembourg in 2007. Four years later he moved the company to Dublin, where it employs eight people and sells fraud management and revenue assurance software to telecom operators.

For Killeen, the decision to relocate the business came on the back of what he saw as a less than supportive start-up environment in Xintec’s original location.
