Worldview, the Russian hedge fund, looks poised to finally take control of Petroceltic, the cash-strapped Irish oil explorer that it has been battling for several years.

Worldview, majority-owned and led by Bulgarian-born investor Angelo Moskov, has emerged as the clear frontrunner to buy Petroceltic, which had its shares on the stock exchange suspended following a process run by the company’s court-appointed examiner.
