Warburg Pincus mulls sale of Clondalkin for €200m

Private equity fund bought 86 per cent control of company for €630 million in 2004

Warburg Pincus, the owner of flexible packaging products and service business Clondalkin, is considering selling the business for significantly more than €200 million.

The private equity fund bought 86 per cent control of Clondalkin for €630 million in 2004 with the remaining shares in the Irish founded business held by its management.

Clondalkin is led by Irishman Patrick Mullaney, who is now based in England and is a significant shareholder in the business.
