Wallace’s former football ground nets €460k in Wexford deal

A share in a Wexford football ground which was owned by Independent TD Mick Wallace and is now in receivership has been sold to the Wexford Football League (WFL) and the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) for €460,000.

The WFL will pay €300,000 and the FAI will pay €160,000 for a 49 per cent share in Ferrycarrig Park, which is located between Enniscorthy and Wexford town.
