The High Court has received a petition to wind up ambitious house builder Victoria Homes over a row concerning an alledged unpaid bill with a former sub-contractor.

Victoria Homes, which is linked to formerly bankrupt builder Paddy Byrne, is claimed to owe the sub-contractor nearly €100,000, according to Victoria’s Danny Whelan.

Whelan told The Sunday Business Post that Victoria Homes had lodged a counter-claim for €250,000 last week.
