Venture capital firms on prowl for Irish start-ups

High-profile exits in Ireland are beginning to put us on the map

Ireland could be in line for a new influx of venture capital firms seeking to back early stage companies here, according to Startup Ireland director Andrew Parish.

He said that Irish firms traditionally struggle to find second-stage investments to follow on from the multiple early stage supports available from Enterprise Ireland and other organisations.
