US filmmaker seeks Irish investment opportunities
The award-winning actress, writer, producer and women-in-film activist Naomi McDougall Jones is visiting Ireland this week to scope out potential investment opportunities for her venture capital investment fund for women in film.
The 51 Fund, which was founded by McDougall Jones and Lois Scott, the former chief financial officer of the City of Chicago, is raising up to $50 million to finance films written, directed and produced by women.
