Osborne Lodge, nestled happily among the mystical Curragh plains, has many a story to tell.

The Hughes family put the stables on the market last autumn, subsequent to the decision made by Sandra – daughter of the late, legendary Dessie – to cease her training business. It must have been a decision that the clan, including ex-jockey Richard, son of Dessie, accepted with great reluctance.
