UDG Healthcare, the medical services company, expects to seal a major takeover in the next 12 months, according to its chief executive.

Brendan McAtamney told The Sunday Business Post that he was eyeing up deals in the region of €120 million to €150 million and it has up to €600 million to spend in total.

UDG is flush with cash following the sale of its drug distribution business last year for €407 million.
