A spin-out company from UCD's School of Physics has secured €3m in the latest round of funding from the European Commission's Horizon 2020 scheme targeted at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
SiriusXT was co-founded in 2015 by Dr Kenneth Fahy, Dr Fergal O’Reilly and Dr Paul Sheridan following 10 years of research on the technology that underpins the soft x-ray tomography (SXT) microscope, which is now being commercialised by the company....
