U2 duo backing Dublin biotech firm

Nuritas expands after securing EU funding for diabetes treatment

The new jobs in Ireland will be in research and development, business development and other areas. The company will continue to be based in Dublin but also plans to expand in the US after the recent opening of an office in San Francisco.

The U2 members were part of Nuritas’s seed round investment which closed earlier this year. They join Salesforce founder Marc Benioff and US technology entrepreneur Ali Partovi in backing the company....
