Tycoon Malone swoops for 70 per cent stake in Galway Radisson Blu

John Malone, the US cable tycoon, has emerged with a 70 per cent stake in the four-star Radisson Blu in Galway, following last week’s €50 million buyout of the hotel.

Jerry O’Reilly, the developer who was one of the original owners of the property, will take a 10 per cent stake, while Paul Higgins will have a 20 per cent holding.
