TV3 steps up for autumn

TV3’s new season launch gave many a sense of déjà vu, but its programme director has vowed that this autumn will be a game-changer, writes Colette Sexton

In some ways, TV3’s new season launch last week was the same as the previous year’s. Both occasions were held in Dublin’s National Concert Hall, with a purple carpet rolled out and wine aplenty served as TV3 told the audience it was coming of age. But while last year this was merely a promise, this year the new schedule lived up to its grown-up reputation.
