Last week’s JNLR radio listenership report was overshadowed by news of a long-anticipated return of Late Late Show presenter Ryan Tubridy to RTE Radio 1.

Tubridy, who has spent five years on 2FM, will take the high-profile Radio 1 morning slot that follows directly at 9am from Morning Ireland, the biggest show on radio.

With former presenter John Murray at the helm, this slot was attracting an average of 296,000 listeners, the latest JNLRs show.
