Townapps putting small towns on the digital map
For small towns, it can be difficult if not impossible to compete with large cities when it comes to marketing themselves and the services they offer. For the past few years, Joe Connaughton has been attempting to level that playing field through his company, Townapps Limited.
Townapps is a mobile application promoting local services in towns. It was set up with €350,000 in funding from investors and Enterprise Ireland by Connaughton and Martin Nally.
