Dublin company Touchtech Payments is tackling the tricky problem of authenticating online payments with progressive technology that uses fingerprints, retinal scans and e-signatures to identify customers.

Its authentication solutions for online transactions, ranging from bill payments to loan agreements, netted the company a significant deal with the German bank N26 on a recent Enterprise Ireland trade mission to the country.
