Top US mutual fund reduces its stake in Bank of Ireland

Giant American mutual fund investment company Ameriprise Financial has reduced its stake in Bank of Ireland, filings with the Irish Stock Exchange show.

According to Bloomberg, two of Ameriprise’s fund companies now hold less than 2 per cent of the bank.

Threadneedle Asset Management has, through several sub funds, a 1.36 per cent holding, while Columbia, also owned by Ameriprise, has a holding of 0.29 per cent.
