Top enterprise award goes to Offaly businessman
Applied Concepts exports blast machines for building
Mark Clendennen of Offaly-based Applied Concepts was the overall winner at the National Enterprise Awards in Dublin last night.
His company manufactures and exports blast machines used by builders and restoration companies. Supported by Local Enterprise Office Offaly, the Kinnitty-based company began trading in 2010 and employs ten people. Its machines are used in building and restoration projects in countries such as Finland, Estonia, Venezuela and Ethiopia.
