More and more sports fans keep up to date with their teams on their smartphones

We’re all online now. On average, British adults spend more than four hours each day on their smartphones, tablets and laptops.

In Ireland, where there is the highest saturation of mobile internet users anywhere in Europe, North America and South America, the average person spends five hours and 40 minutes a week on Facebook alone. That’s in comparison with 12 years ago, when we “only” spent ten hours in total per week online....
