Patreon set for Irish HQ move and Carlsberg’s paper play
Patreon is to open its first EU headquarters in Ireland, creating 30 jobs over the next two years. Based in San Francisco, Patreon was founded in 2013 by YouTube star Jack Conte and Sam Yam. The platform enables creative types and artists to set up funding channels for their fans, who gain access to exclusive material in return. The expansion is being supported by IDA Ireland.
