Unemployment figures for December are published by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) on Tuesday. The figure for November held steady at 4.8 per cent to remain at its lowest level in nearly 13 years. The seasonally adjusted total stood at 117,800, up marginally from October.
Figures from the Live Register, which includes people working up to three days a week part-time, will follow on Thursday. The seasonally adjusted total for November was 186,400, a monthly decrease of 1.2 per cent.
