Liverpool’s current impressive run of results in the EPL, albeit not spectacular to watch, came after a 3-0 shellacking in Old Trafford in mid-December. That victory was the high-point of Louis van Gaal’s reign to date, as his side routed Brendan Rodgers’ charges.
