Veterinary surgeon Michael Burke is managing director of Chanelle Group, the largest Irish-owned manufacturer of generic pharmaceuticals in Ireland.
Burke established the company in Loughrea in 1985 and it employs 375 people in Ireland, Britain, Jordan and India. The company has 1,700 animal health licences registered in the EU and holds 800 product licences for human health products worldwide.
