TempBuddy works out plans for office in US

Dublin software start-up also has plans to double its workforce

TempBuddy, the Dublin-based start-up that develops workforce software, is planning to open an office in the US and double its staff count in Ireland.

The start-up was acquired by the Californian private equity and venture capital firm Symphony Technology Group for an undisclosed sum last week.

Roderick Smyth, chief executive and founder of TempBuddy, said the company will open an office in Atlanta, Georgia, and boost its staff numbers from 20 to 40 in Dublin.
