Galway-based Telegael’s €10 million film Captain Morten and the Spider Queen will be launched at the Cannes Film Festival this month.

The film, which has been six years in the making, has an all-Irish cast including Brendan Gleeson, Pauline McLynn, Ciarán Hinds and Michael McElhatton as well as stand-up comedians Jason Byrne, Tommy Tiernan and Neil Delamere.
