Ted Cunningham doubles down on bid to get €1.4m back from CAB

Ted Cunningham, the Cork-based financial advisor, has stepped up his battle to force the Criminal Assets Bureau to return him €1.4 million seized from his clients in the wake of the Northern Bank robbery.
KRW Law, the Belfast legal firm representing Cunningham, told the CAB last week it believed the money had been seized by it “without lawful authority,” before being transferred substantially to the Northern Bank “without lawful authority”.
