Tech tycoon’s stake in Skyscanner soars to $30million

The Scottish online flight comparison site raised $192 million in fresh investment

Skyscanner, the company of which Irish entrepreneur Ray Nolan is an investor and former chairman, has been valued at $1.6 billion after its latest fundraising round, leaving him several millions richer.

The Scottish online flight comparison site has raised $192 million in fresh investment.

Nolan, who owns around 2 per cent, confirmed that he had retained his shareholding after this new round, which doubles the value of the company since the Silicon Valley venture firm Sequoia invested...
