Taxman takes case against C&F Tooling

Manufacturing chief said liability would be repaid shortly

The Revenue Commissioners this week initiated a fresh move against C&F Tooling, one of the state’s largest indigenous manufacturers.

The tax authority issued proceedings against C&F Tooling, the main holding company within the group, along with a number of subsidiaries, including its green energy division.

John Flaherty, the founder and chief executive of C&F, said the liability would be repaid shortly.
