Taxi software firm to cater for 100,000 drivers by end of 2019, says its founder

iCabbi, which provides software for taxis, will have more than 100,000 active drivers on its platform by the end of 2019.

Founded by Gavan Walsh in Dublin in 2010, iCabbi provides dispatch management software to taxi fleets across Ireland, Britain, the US and Canada.

Globally, the system handles 3.5 million bookings every week and it has a 70 per cent market share in taxi companies with over 50 cars in Ireland. It has about 45,000 cars in Britain.
