Guyana find a boost for Tullow shareholders

Shares in Irish exploration company Tullow Oil jumped by around 20 per cent to £2.145 in London on Monday after it announced an oil discovery at a well off the coast of Guyana.

Chief executive Paul McDade described the discovery as “substantial and high value”.
