The state’s investment arm and AIB are among the backers of a €150 million renewable energy fund.

Temporis Capital, a London-based investment company, has lined up AIB, the Irish Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) and a German developer of solar and wind farms to provide financial backing for the fund.

ISIF is committing €50 million to the fund. It will invest in pre-construction renewable energy projects over the next 12 years.
