SplitmediaLabs buys two companies in its $10m expansion

Hong Kong-based company is behind the XSplit gaming platform

Online gaming software company SplitmediaLabs has acquired two companies as part of a $10 million investment strategy, the company has announced.

As part of its expansion plans, SplitmediaLabs has just bought Player.me and Challonge, according to a press release.

Player.me is a kind of social media platform for online gamers with a rapidly growing user-base, while Challonge is an service for creating online gaming tournaments.
