Software firm Skytek eyes US expansion

Move comes after company secured contract with Irish Naval Service

Irish technology company Skytek is beefing up its US activities as part of a plan to expand its software to the mass market.

Skytek, which developed operational software used on the International Space Station, will roll out its software to use on all commercial systems by the summer of 2016. Currently, its product International Procedural Viewer (iPV) guides astronauts through about 10,000 everyday and emergency procedures.
