Smurfits build stake in Game Account Network

Game Account Network, the Irish online gaming company headed by Dermot Smurfit junior, has raised £3.1 million, with billionaire Michael Smurfit throwing in £1.6 million.
The company is now valued at close to £16 million.
The funds will be used for working capital and general business development purposes, the company said, as it continues to build its real-money and simulated gaming business in the US.
