Michael Smurfit, the legendary businessman and former chief executive of paper and packaging giant Jefferson Smurfit, has described Brexit as a “disaster for Britain and Ireland”.

Smurfit told The Sunday Business Post: “This is very bad for Britain. The young have been let down by middle-aged and the old voting against Europe. There are now two Britains.”
